Anand Chandrasekaran is an angel investor and an entrepreneur. He is a  Product Management Executive Vice President at Five.9 As a product enthusiast, Anand has a deep understanding of the mobile ecosystem and a proven track record of success as a business owner. Within Yahoo search’s product business, he is currently in charge of product management for mobile products.


Anand was Director of Product Management at Openwave prior to joining Yahoo! For the mobile mediation product line, he was in charge of both new product development and day-to-day product management. This product line served more than 200 million daily customers across more than 70 different mobile operators.


Mr. Singh holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from PSG College of Technology, both of which are located in India. He has participated in the Harvard University Global Leadership and Policy Program, among other things. He was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2010, and he was named one of Silicon Valley’s 40 most promising young professionals in 2011.


His previous position was as chief technology officer and product officer of MorfMobile, a platform that specialized in the distribution of premium content and services. Anand formerly worked at MyToday SMS (India), a mobile content publisher with more than 17 million monthly mobile users and more than 12 billion SMS messages sent out each year. Anand was Director of Messenger Platform at Facebook.

His previous firm, Aeroprise, was co-founded and assisted in the creation of the company, and under his leadership, the company’s mobile personalization solutions became the most frequently used mobility tool for service management in the world. BMC Software purchased the company.

Anand Chandrasekaran has invested in a total of 48 companies. Their most recent investment was in Series B – Saas Labs, which closed on January 20, 2022, and raised $42 million. Bytelearn, Eventflow, Opslyft, Koparo Clean, Clear Dekho, Salary Box, Mudrex, Admid Card, and One Code are some of his investee companies.
